Tulip's Grand Opening!!

This past Thursday, I celebrated the opening of my new floral studio. Tulip Floral Studio is located in the old Duling School in the Fondren neighborhood of Jackson, MS. We love our new, old classroom space! Here is a sneak peak of the new studio and some pics of the party

Our yummy cake was made by Maria De Labarre at The Cake Diva. Visit her @ http://www.thecakediva.net/
I get to look at my beautiful wedding dress everyday as it sits on display at the studio. I also showcase my lovely collection of milk glass on a piece of my Grandma Caye's refinished antique furniture piece.
Our delicious dessert display for the party. This is my Great Grandmother Pearl's antique dresser accented with a beautiful piece of white lace. Life just wouldn't be complete without antiques and lace........ and dessert of course!
Vendula roses and scabiosa pods were arranged in antique black pedestal vases.A shot of the original school room chalkboard that we use to leave messages for our clients when we are out of the studio.

Just a picture of me getting ready before my guests arrived.

The lovely ladies of Bella Bridesmaid!

Tulip's bridal resource corner. Lots of great books for inspiration.

Me and my lovely friend Denise!

My Chinese lanterns accented with satin ribbon..... perfect party accent!

Reflexed Vendula roses and scabiosal pods were arranged in a green hobnail juice glass from Anthropologie.

Drink of the evening....... Peach Bellinis!!

And last, but not least...... my sweet husband and I pretending it was our wedding night again. So much fun, and oh so good!

Thanks so much to all of the wonderful vendors who helped make my party a success! Tom Beck @ http://www.beckphotographic/ for my lovely photos, http://www.minttherestaurant.com/ and http://www.vipgrandevents.com/ for the yummy food, and http://www.thecakediva,net/ for the fabulous cake!

Thanks for tuning in,

Tulip loves you!
