JESSICA + JOSH : MOBILE, AL

My girls and I made a leisurely drive down to Mobile, Alabama on a Friday for a wedding that ended up looking beyond beautiful, words cannot describe. The couple. Jessica and Josh, were married on the following day- a gorgeous Saturday evening! March 13th was a special day for the couple and I was so glad to be a part of it!

The ceremony was held at Spring Hill Avenue Methodist Church. The celebration took place at the Battle House Hotel, a Renaissance Hotel and Spa, with the color scheme of ivory, light pink, fuchsia, raspberry, peach, lavender, purple, apricot, and chartreuse green.

For the ceremony, we created a very chic, monotone scene for the altar: white hydrangea, white tulips and white phaleanopsis orchids with white pillar and floating candles. White hydrangea wreaths were hung on the doors of the church with embroidered sashes of the bride and groom's initials draping from them. These floral wreaths made for an elegant background for the pictures!

For the reception, we wanted to bring in some romantic elements , while still trying to tie in the historic vibe of the hotel. To accomplish this, in one room we hung rustic lanterns from the ceiling above the cocktail tables and made crystal trees out of manzanita branches and hung phaleanopsis orchids from one and hydrangea balls from the other! In the next room where all the dancing was taking place, we arranged a romantic purple, green, apricot, and raspberry color palette on all the guest tables. The blooms featured hydrangea, garden roses, peonies, and orchids in several varieties. Take a look at the photos below! The fabulous Jaclyn and Bill from Robinson Studio and Design were there to capture it all! Thank you so much for your breathtaking photos!

Jessica wanted a tight, round, over the top bouquet- very elegant and stunning! The bridal bouquet consisted of white hydrangea, roses and phaleanopsis orchids accneted with pretty little crystals. Her bouquet was finished with a beautiful beaded ribbon and an heirloom crystal brooch. The bridesmaid's bouquets featured blooms such as green hydrangea, peach garden roses, lavender roses, and fuchsia phaleanopsis orchids. They looked so beautiful against the girls Tiffany blue gowns!

The night ended with a happy Bride & Groom and spaklers of course! Congratulations Jessica and Josh.... enjoy your long happy life together!

Thanks for tuning in,

Tulip loves you!
