TRUDY AND TAYLOR : THE KING EDWARD

Trudy and Taylor said their vows on Saturday, May 8th . It was one of those perfect Spring days where there was just enough warmth in the air and not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony took place at Galloway Methodist Church in downtown Jackson. The reception following the ceremony was held at newly renovated historic King Edward-such a classic venue and so close to the ceremony. It Made for a smooth transition from the ceremony to the celebration!

Trudy came to me and we instantly connected... I absolutely adored her! She was so wonderful to work with; very simple and to the point-the way I like to work! We came up with a color scheme of tone on tone whites and added pretty vases and silver tones for some character. This color palette made for a very clean and classic look.

Trudy walked down the aisle carrying a very lush, romantic bouquet of white peonies and white ranunculus accented with Lily of the Valley and scented geranium foliage. The stems were tied off with ivory satin ribbon with a white lace overlay. The baby bonnet she carried down the aisle along with her bouquet was such a sweet accent.

We dressed the altar with flowering branches to add height and drama, large cylinder vases filled with French tulips, hydrangea vases, and of course, candlelight to illuminate all the gorgeous flowers-absolutely breathtaking!

For the reception, the whole second floor of the King Edward was reserved for Trudy and Taylor's celebration. Floral for the reception included white hydrangea, roses, tulips, peonies, calla lilies, ranunculus, and dendrobium orchids arranged in apothecary jars and etched glass vases. Mercury glass candle votives were added to illuminate the room.

Here are a few of my favorite Tom Beck shots from the day:

The whole day was a success; from start to finish! All the hard work paid off when I saw Trudy with her bouquet in hand-such a shining moment for me! Thanks Trudy for being such an awesome bride...... I wish only love and happiness for both you and Taylor!

A special thanks to Tom Beck of for your amazing shots from the day! These pictures honestly caught every special detail from the wedding!
