RUTHIE + JOSH : THE CEDARS

a few of my favorite things... lace + vintage print fabrics + old suitcases + gigantic white peonies + etched glass vases + potted herbs... oh, the list goes on. from day one, ruthie and i were on the same page when it came to styling her wedding. she gave me complete creative control... a designers dream bride. here are a few of my favorite detail shots from the day from tom beck
bridesmaid bouquets of lavender roses + freesia + thistle + anemones + fern curls + scented geranium foliage wrapped in rustic burlap. these babies smelled AMAZING....

look at those amazing white peonies.... six stems is all it took to make ruthie's fragrant bridal bouquet wrapped in lace....

rustic wooden boxes filled with fresh blooms in lavender + blue hues. we used stock + roses + hyacinth + thistle + scabiosa + delphinium to create the look....

fresh herbs + african violets in wooden boxes wrapped in lace accented the cocktail tables...

we created a fun backdrop for the cake table.... vintage print fabric in lavender tones + lace streamers + fabric and lace stretched over cross stitch frames.....

we set up a prosecco station to greet guests as they arrived. fresh blueberries + blackberries garnished the much needed drinks on this 100 degree summer day....

lace linen.... one of the first loves of my life. Ruthie swooned over this linen too...

the cedars is such a great venue! the simple, clean space inside, the large outdoor space, and the classic covered porches make for a perfect setting for a southern wedding....
