JESSIE + BILLY : LAKEWOOD PLANTATION

yay...... it's finally here!! i have been waiting to share this wedding since october! this one was by far my favorite of 2010. it's a dream come true when a bride gives you complete creative control and that is exactly what jessie did. she gave me a basic vision of what she was looking for and i took it and ran with it. the ending result was an amazing country, chic wedding with the perfect mix of masculine and feminine accents that reflected the couple perfectly! the only thing i really can't take credit for are the invitations and print work. the creative, talented bride did all of that herself!

here are a few of my favorites..... enjoy the pics!

the custom backdrop i designed was made up of layers of ruffled vintage print fabrics..... I have an amazing seamstress!

the bridesmaid bouquets were composed of cafe au lait dahlias, juliet garden roses, and auswater garden roses.... they were delicious!
each bridesmaid got to choose their own dress!

we used burlap throughout the ceremony and reception... for the aisle runner, the table runners, and for draping the barn. we used something like 200 yards!!!

we kept the florals loose, airy, and romantic and we used stained wooden boxes for a rustic touch

well hello Mr. Deer

a special thank you to a few of the vendors and people who helped pull this day off:

beth morgan who captured every moment so pefectly with amazing photography

stephen barnett with davaine lighting for oh so perfect illumination

heather burns for jessie's stunning cake... it was SO yummy!

my wonderful staff at TULIP who worked their butt's off that day

and...... last, but certainly not least

jessie and billy for giving me creative control of their very special day!

thanks for tuning in,

tulip loves you!
