Midsummer Nights Dream

On June 27th, I had the pleasure of designing flowers for a beautiful Southern Bride. Christopher was the true definition of Southern Bride...... with her classic lace gown, her breath taking church ceremony, her beauty and her grace, she was absolutely stunning. I did not have the pleasure of meeting the Bride until I handed her the bouquet on her wedding day, but I was still brought to tears as I watched her walk down the aisle to meet her handsome groom. In true Southern fashion, the wedding was planned by the Bride's Mother, and with the help of the wonderful Andre de La Barre they did an amazing job creating a dream wedding for her little girl. Crissy came up with the idea of a Midsummer Night Dream inspired wedding, a concept that I took and ran with when it came to designing the flowers.

The Bridesmaids walked down the isle carrying stunning bouquets of white stock, white lilac, lavender sweetpea, monk orange, tweedia and freesia accented with Boston fern, fresh sage and fiddle fern curls. The natural exposed stems of the bouquets were wrapped in banyan root.

The Bride carried a bouquet of white lilac, white sweetpea, peonies, white stock, tuberose, Star of Bethlehem and white tweedia accented with maidenhair fern and Boston fern.

The beautiful photography for this event was done by the talented girls at Arden Photography out of Birmingham, Alabama. Check their website out @ http://www.ardenphotography.com/

Thanks for tuning in,
